World Champs - Final Day

After three huge days of racing, today is the final day of events the 2025 World Triathlon Championships, in Wollongong

Todays schedule includes

8:00am - Para Triathlon Mixed Team relays, 10:30am - Age Group Mixed relay teams at 2:00pm - Elite Women’s Triathlon Final

4:00pm - Elite Men’s Triathlon Final

The Mixed Relay is a short sharp draft legal event consisting of a 300m swim, 5.6km I lap ride and a 1.36 km run (or 1.39kms if you are final team member). It’s a thrilling and dynamic event that emphasizes teamwork, speed, and strategy in the sport of triathlon.

This format has gained popularity due to its fast-paced nature and the exciting element of competition among teams of amateur athletes from around the globe.

The Mixed Teams Relay consists of teams composed of four athletes—two men and two women—who each complete a short triathlon leg before tagging their teammate.

This afternoon its the Womens and Mens World Championship final - its a Standard (Olympic) , distance - being a 1500m Swim, 40km ride and

10km run. After the sensational racing we have seen so far it’s going to be a fantastic.
